Yahoo answers: Another way to build traffic to your blog

Here is where you can kill 2 birds with one stone. Help others and increase traffic to your blog. Try Yahoo Answers. Either look at the approprite category for your blog or type in keyword in the search box and look for people seeking answers. If you have a post address the question, put a link to that post. However, do not spam.

If you have been providing pertinent answers, and people find your blog relevant, they will tend to go back to your blog and you can get repeat visits and loyal readers. In this way you can build up a readership

  1. I am wondering if you could someday make a post on how to change the font in your title (to a font that is not available in your layout of "fonts and colors" as Im looking for a way to add a scroll-y type of font for my title As well as to my name after each post I make.

Wondering if you can help me?

  7. Hi Peter!

    Always learning from you...

Remember my question about pictures disappearing in blogs? It just happened again in http://tagideseadamastores.blogspot.com. This is a special blog I created for my high school friends (we keep in touch on a daily basis, 30 years later). My personal blog is http://gotaderantanplan.blogspot.com.

I won't put the photos there again for a few hours, so you can check it. How strange is that?

    Always grateful.

There have been numerous reports of "disappearing photos" so looks like it is a problem that Blogger have to clear up. If you want you can try to report it to them.

  11. I am not sure this a real good idea until Yahoo fixes this. The thumbs down feature and Top Contributer feature leads to all sorts of chaos and poor answers. I have been in Aquarium maintenance and research for more than 27 years and get panned regulary by persons without any concept of the correct answer.
I find very few persons check my well researched articles from Yahoo answers

  17. similarly answers.com is useful in this regard.

If relevant to your blog wikipedia could help but you have to make sure it adds to the article, doesnt cause a conflict of interest or spam so with wikipedia be careful to read all the fine print or much easier is to contact the moderator of the article you want to add you blog to first and in your correspondecne state why you feel your blog would be beneficial to the article.
