Free fonts for your blog

Are you not satisfied with the fonts that is available for your blog? If so, you may want to check out
100 Legal Sources for Free (as in Beer) Fonts. I have not tried it as I am not a big fan of fancy fonts and is quite satisfied with what I have, so I cannot vouch for what is available in that site. But if you like fancy fonts, give that site a try.

As to how to use it, if you don't know, ask, perhaps I will answer with another post. That is for the future

  1. Hey, I'd like to know how to use or insert new fonts into my blog. Thanks.

  2. I would also like to use a variety of fonts in my blog. How can I change my options?

  3. Hi thebackpacker and *It",

Have a look at Changing fonts for New Blogger

I can't guarantee that post will solve your problem, but if it does not, at least I hope they gives you some idea of how to try yourself. If you have some experience to share, I hope you will leave a comment.

  4. Thanks for your feedback. There are very helpful.

  5. Okay, so I figured out how to change the font to different fonts all over my blog. But I have noticed that the computer won't recognized the font unless it has it down-loaded on itself. So is there anyway to put a web-address after font-family so that any computer will recognized the font whether it has it down-loaded or not?

Not so much the font but how do I create italics and a line break in my header. Is it an HTML operation?

  7. I tested it at Health Wealth Happiness and there you will see the first line in italic and the second line normal. Not only that, I made the 2 line of text an active links. Click on it and see what happen.

However, I have to check for W3C validation, but have guests coming over soon so no time to test further. Check back later.

  8. hi peter!

i have a font that i have already downloaded, "oldstyle" and i want to bring it into my blogger blog. but i dont know the code i need. or is there a simpler way to bring in this custom font? my template for blogger is minima. any help would be much appreciated! thank you so much!

  9. I hardly play with fonts as I am pretty much happy with the existing plus if one try to install fancy fonts, your blog when viewed by visitors that don't have those fonts installed will get other fonts instead. I don't fancy fancy fonts and perhaps if you can get in touch with those who do, they may be better placed to advice you.

  10. Please post how to add new fonts for the HTML challenged folks like me!

  11. Suddenly, I'm unable to shrink my post fonts down to a readable size. I've changed the font in the post to the smallest available fonts and it did absolutely nothing to my posts. I save as draft, then went in and edited post, still didn't work.

    Any ideas?

  12. Sorry no ideas as I have no idea what caused your problem. But if it was me faced with a similar problem and if I have no idea how to solve it or too lazy to dig deep, I would just backup page elements (gadget) and backup template then upload a fresh template which may be a previous backup template.

  13. Great source of you suggested -help is appreciated.Thank you for sharing.
