Add AdSense products to Blogger blogs: Recommended method

This question crops up often:

when customizing my blog, I click on 'add a page element', then I click on 'adsense' and this is what comes up.....

Please correct the errors on this form.

Format: 300 x 250 Rectangle (drop down menu)

Blogger is not allowed to request ad code for your AdSense account. You must fix this by signing in again and allowing Blogger to manage your account.

My recommendation is, forget about adding AdSense products direct via Blogger except if you want to add AdSense ads between posts (click BACK button to get back to this page). Reasons: You have much limited options like being unable to add AdSense custom channels and Adsense text or button referral links, or even Google site search box.

Use this method: Adding Adsense products to Blogger blogs. No time to check what is inside there, but perhaps you can get more information from Blogger Beta: Adding advertisement and hit counters, etc (click BACK button to get back to this page). Feedback highly welcomed as some may need updating.

  3. Hi,

I got the adsense code, placed it between posts, but it doesn't show. This page is not available from your site at this time.

All that shows is a generic PSA that isn't monetized. If I right click to see the source code, it's there, but it doesn't show up on the page. I've been working on this for hours, and just can't get it right. Any help would be appreciated. Love your site!

  4. If generic Public Service Ads is being displayed, that means the codes are working, only that Google did not have the appropriate ads to display relevant to the content of your blog.

    Original content?

  7. Hi Peter-
I added adsense ads to my blog

I was able to get the side ads to blend but there's ads at the bottom of bottom post that have blue background. How do I change them to blend?

I tried removing them after posts to just have on side, but it won't stay edited. It goes back to my first selection on the page where you pick where you want to place ads. Why would it do that?

  8. Well Laura, you seem to have "funny" problems and can solve "funny" problems with your very own "funny" ways and I suppose you should be proud of yourself because I could not figure out exactly how you solved the previous link problem.

"get the side ads to blend" This seemed to be a straight forward problem. Colors in AdSense ads are fixed (by you) in your AdSense account. See if this post is of any help - Generating script for your AdSense ads and Blending colors of ads to your website.

"I tried removing them after posts to just have on side, but it won't stay edited. It goes back to my first selection on the page" This I do not understand. Perhaps you can explain further?

  9. Dear peter, i have an adsense account
for my blog. but i wanna get another account under another advertisement company to get more earnings as you have under which ( auto manage ads like adsense )company will be better for me? please advice me.

  10. Unless you have specific reasons to have 2 AdSense or Amazon accounts, it is better to have just one, especially if it is difficult to accumulate to the threshold $100. Having more accounts would not result in more earnings. It is more and better content that will help bring more earnings, not more accounts.

  11. when im able to add adsence to my blogspot site after creation. is it able to add on the creation day of blogspot site or i have to wait for any certain durations?

  12. Thanks its helpful.
