IP address ban: Toolator working again

Apologies I only have time to do a quickie post and leave testing till later. Creator of Toolator has contacted me (sorry, a long time ago, 23 November 2007) that Toolator ban is working again. Please go to

http://toolator.com/ban

for the latest. There is also a forum at

http://toolator.com/support/index-2.html#cat2

where you can get updates, give the Toolator feedback, maybe even get support from Toolator's creator. Fervently hope if you use Toolator, you give us feedback too by leaving comments in the post.

  1. I had a heck of a time finding a post about IP banning that was updated, thank goodness this is here! I tried it today, so far so good. I did have problems logging into toolator and it took several tries to get the page to open. I had to go through google search-I copy and pasted your link that you give and it didn't work for me, which is surprising because everything works in firefox...lol
Anyway, so far so good. I am hoping to keep my evil troll away from my blog! I'll let you know :D

  3. Hi Just Jen,

Afraid nothing much you can do when dealing with smart troll or one using dynamic IP address (meaning the IP address keeps changing, so one day may have 1 address and the other day, another, etc.) or if they access your blog via a proxy server.

What a grateful blogger did for me
(No money involved. No one should feel obligated. Everything completely voluntary. However, by doing so, you may also help your visitors find helpful information and help. You may even pick up various ways of linking sites there too)

  4. Have been trying to use Toolator for months!!! It has never worked. Their "Administrator" has made attempts to be helpful but, nonetheless, their product still does not seem to work.
