A blogger: "I want to divide footer into 3/4 columns as like in your 'goodcomputersoftware.blogspot.com'
The above demo blog uses template from Ourblogtemplates.com. If you just want to modify your existing template, Amanda of BloggerBuster has a very good instructions at How to add 3 columns to your footer which should work for any template as the new columns uses fluid width.
I tested her instructions by modifying my 4 column Minima template into 4 column Minima template with 3 column footer and you can see the result at Star Self Improvements. The 3 columns at the footer had been used to contain widgets from Amazon and may take some time to load.

Hi, I'm having the devils own job trying to find answers to a couple of questions and I'm guessing you will know the answers :
1. How do I watermark photo's ?
2. How do I upload pictures side by side ?
I'd be grateful if you could bear in mind that I'm not in the least but technical and though I know my way around blogger a bit, plain english would be great !! Thanks
For (2), refer to How to display images side-by-side.
For (1), for a simple watermark, you can use Irfanview. I have been given to understand that GIMP can do it but have not tried myself yet. Both these programs are free. There are other programs that can do a very good watermark, but no time to write about it yet. Remind me with a comment later.
For college2job, is it that you cannot follow the instructions given by Amanda of BloggerBuster?

Regarding links in new tab/ window: I am giving 'target="new"' instead of '_blank'. It is also working in the same way. pls let me know if any difference is there?

Are you referring to the instructions on my blog/s? My blog has a reputation of containing text that are easy to follow and understand so I have a reputation to defend. Which of the instructions fried your brain and I will see if they can be improved. Would help if you are specific.

You will have to study Amanda's instructions for the footer to see if it can be adapted for the Header. Currently, part of her post cannot be read because of server problem.

You can divide a division like the footer into 3, and you may put a HTML gadget into any one of those 3 divisions, but you can't divide a HTML gadget into 3, unless I misunderstand what you are trying to do/say.
