When you change the URL of a blogspot blog, the permalink (individual post URL) also changes and if the blog already has incoming backlinks, these links will become dead links (page not found). So if you are unhappy about that, what can you do?
I would suggest going back to Blogger dashboard, click SETTINGS then PUBLISHING and change the blog URL back to the original blog URL. Of course you will need to do it fast because that option will not be available any more if another blogger has already registered that URL. If successful, all your original permalinks will be restored.
I have tested it at a test blog Computer Hardware Tips and Tricks and confirmed that after changing the blog URL back to the original, the permalink of the individual post had also been restored.

By blog name I am guessing you are referring to blog URL. Assuming the change only occurred recently and the inbound links to your old blog URL is still intact, you can go to Dashboard > Settings > Publishing

Auto redirect will only be available with custom domain
but what about pagerank and Alexa rank, this is very risky if we replace the domain. thanks for the tips friend!

I've had 3 blogs I follow change their URLs. I've unsubscribed to their old blog and resubscribed to their new ones. However in dashboard they either show up blank or their old URL feed is showing. Thank you for the post! Can you help me please? I changed the blog name but I wasn't happy so I changed back. Everything was ok but I found that my followers don't recive feed with new posts only old posts. Why my new posts are not showing? But if you search them on google you will find them.
